DOGGY DAY CARE
CRB CHECKED & FULLY INSURED
CANINE FIRST AID TRAINED
Doverdoggies prefers to care for small groups of dogs. We do not do large pack walks or play sessions. I socialise dogs in a controlled situation in the day care centre, garden, and on the walks. Your dog's safety is my prime concern.
This means your dog will get my full attention and will be safely exercised and socialised in a varied and fun environment

How Doverdoggies Day Care works
The first stage after your initial enquiry would be for you to visit the day care centre, without your dog/s, just so you can get a good look around. I prefer your dog to be introduced to the daycare centre by my special gradual method, described below.
If you are happy with the centre, the next stage is for me to visit you and your dog in your home for the meet and greet. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions and complete paper work ,and for me and your dog to meet and assess each other.
If you and your dog are happy, I will then take your dog for a short walk, so that he/she will be used to me entering your home, walking him/her and for me to assess his/her needs. (When your dog starts day care, I will collect your dog from your home in the morning and return him/her home in the afternoon). From there we can arrange when your dog would have his/her assessment day. This is when I would first give your dog a good walk before taking him/her into our doggy playground to become familiar with the scents of the other dogs. Your dog will then be taken into the quiet area of the centre which is sectioned off from the other dogs. Your dog will then be carefully introduced to one other dog that is compatible. From there I would take things slowly. It may take a few hours or a few days before your dog is completely relaxed and happy, but there is no rush. Your dog will be carefully and patiently cared for. I am studying to become a dog behaviourist and will only socialise your dog using behaviourist methods, experience and the utmost care.
